1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using SMEbiz-EX (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to transact on behalf of any business you represent. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account.
3. Listings
Sellers are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of their listings. SMEbiz-EX operates a moderation process and may approve, reject, suspend, or remove any listing at its discretion. A listing does not constitute an offer capable of acceptance.
4. Contact masking & enquiries
To protect both parties, seller contact details are masked by default. Buyers connect with sellers through the Platform’s enquiry system. You agree not to attempt to circumvent the enquiry process or solicit off-platform contact in order to avoid fees.
5. Fees — 1% finders fee, no subscription
SMEbiz-EX is free to join, list, and browse. There are no subscription fees during the current phase. SMEbiz-EX charges a finders fee of one percent (1%) of the final transaction value on any business sale that results, directly or indirectly, from an introduction facilitated through the Platform. The finders fee becomes payable upon completion of the transaction. By listing a business or submitting an enquiry, you agree to this fee.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to post false, misleading, or unlawful content; harass other users; scrape or misuse Platform data; or interfere with the Platform’s operation or security.
7. No advisory relationship
SMEbiz-EX is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a broker, financial advisor, or legal advisor, and nothing on the Platform constitutes investment, legal, or financial advice. You should conduct your own due diligence and seek independent professional advice before entering into any transaction.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMEbiz-EX is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any user or the outcome of any transaction.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
